Education Program: Kerry Southern will be demonstrating the new AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program.
This program teaches basic obedience commands and upon completion of the program you and your puppy are listed in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy records and receive a Puppy medal. Come on out and see if you and your pup would enjoy enrolling in this program. It sounds like fun for you and your puppy!

The December issue will feature your holiday greetings at a reduced cost. Half page in color (landscape 8.5 x 5.5) will be $5.00 and a full page in color (8.5 x 11) will be $10.00. Jim will be happy to help with the layouts.
2. The following committee positions are open. Please let Donna Gonzalez know if you are interested. Herding Committee and Refreshments Committee.
3. Club pins are in!!! If you are interested please contact Donna Gonzalez. They are $5.00 a pin if you pick them up and $7.00 a pin if you would like them mailed to you. They measure 1 ¼ inches in diameter.
4. Club calendars are in!!! Dalene McIntire has these available for $10.00 each. They make great gifts and this year the theme seems to be fun photos!
5. Plaque award information (copies of titles earned) should be given to Dalene McIntire by the January meeting.
6. Member of the Year – Please start thinking of a member you would like to nominate for this honor. All nominations must be in writing and received by the January meeting. 7. 2010 Membership Dues are due by January 1, 2010. They are $30.00 for an individual and $45.00 for a family. If not received by then you will be considered delinquent and if not received by March 1st your membership will be dropped. Please make your checks payable to the German Shepherd Dog Club of Washington State and mail them to Dalene McIntire at 11054 SE 192nd Street Renton, WA 98055

We will be having a memorial listing page in an early 2010 newsletter. If any of you have lost a beloved four-legged friend in 2009 please let Jim or Gail know. If you would like to include a short paragraph about them please do so.
